7000 people have viewed this problem/issue. Most appear to have deleted drivers, re-installed drivers, updated Bios, Update i2c Intel drivers, deleted ALPS drivers, re-installed Dell Touchpad drivers, etc. On Windows 10. Dell doesn't have appear to have an answer. Really Sad that 7000 users can report/see this issue and not have a proper response from Dell. The Accepted Answer appears to be that Dell doesn't support their products. Very sad. I have this exact issue on 12 different Dell 7490's . No support whatsoever

I'm having the exact same issue that just started today. I have had my Dell 7490 for at least 12 months. Bought it refurbished. Runs Windows 10. Left bottom touchpad button stopped working suddenly tonight. Rest of touchpad, right click button button and the two top buttons above the touchpad are working. There are no drivers that need to be updated based on a Device Manager scan.
I'm going to try the following replacement of the bottom two touch-pad buttons and see if that works (based on this video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJivp6nvbrM. Will report back once I've had a chance to do that. My suspicion is that the button/contact has gone bad and needs to be replaced. If it were a software issue, I think the other buttons and/or touchpad in general would not be working.

Lost left button about 4 months ago. Lost right button today. If this many people have this problem, it's not a bug. It's a feature. Sadly

Same here. I received a refurbished Dell Latitude 7490 about a week ago. From the beginning the lower mouse buttons were inoperable.
I'd try replacing the touchpad, but if the problem is this widespread, maybe that won't be a solution?
