Dell latitude E 5540 booting

Question

Hi All

My Laptop Battery health is good.

I have replaced Cmos battery. But laptop doesnt boot. Power button lights up for 16 sec and then turns off. But laptop doesnot boot.

After keeping adaptor connected for 1 to 2 hrs. When I again press power button it boots

Please help in resolving

The battery meter can be wrong. If the battery is over 2 yrs old, it needs replacing. Try removing the battery and use the adapter alone. If that works use it that way. Don't buy online batteries from unknown sellers. Lots of scams with batteries.

Connected Only adaptor. But again same problem. Power Button light goes on and off. But laptop doesnot boot. Same Problem after changing CMOS Battery
