Dell has tested the i7-3540M (3.0 - 3.7 GHz, 4MB Cache, 2 Cores). As for the i7-3632QM (2.2 - 3.2 GHz, 6 MB Cache, 4 Cores), you'll have to try it yourself or wait for someone in the forum that has has already done it to tell you if it works with the E5430. With those impressive specs the i7-3632QM will really make your Latitude fly!

Hello, You had to do something other than just change the CPU? The compatibility with the motherboard of origin is nickel ? I have a Dell e5430 with a CPU I5 3320 GHz, a Samsung Evo SSD and 8 GO DDR3L Thank you for your help.

Hello!I replaced the i3-3210m with the i7-3632qm processor.The latest BIOS is on A21.The machine does not recognize the processor.Only max. 2.2GHz running.It accelerated a little compared to the old one.In the Passmark test, the old CPU is about 3300 and the new is 4400.Anyone have any idea on the problem?
