If you forgot the BIOS password in a Dell laptop then there is only one way to gain access. Call Dell tech support and after confirming you are the owner, the Dell tech will assist you in resetting the password.

Hi,

I'm presuming you're pressing CONTROL-ENTER when entering the code into the BIOS correct?

(as it states at the bottom - * FOR SOME DELL CODES PRESS CTRL-ENTER, NOT ENTER, WHEN ENTERING CODE INTO THE BIO)

I've previously used bios-pw.org on dell machines and had no issues.

Kind Regards

Jord

For anyone who stumbles on this post with the same problem, I had no luck with any of the sites or methods posted, but finally found that this site gave me a working master password for me Latitude E5430: https://biospassword.eu/free-1/dell-free-passwords/?lang=en

Another thing to try - Dell's documentation mentions having to enter the correct master password 4 times before it's accepted.
