Dell Latitude E6420 Bent corners.

So I have this Dell Latitude E6420 and it looks like both front corners are bent upwards which makes it kind of hard to latch the computer. The EC slot is also bent. I am wondering if this is a factory quirk of the laptop or some kind of damage inflicted on the laptop later on. My friend also has one of these (In much worse shape than mine,) and it also has the bent corners. But it is not to the extreme that mine are bent. image0.jpgimage1.jpgimage2.jpgimage3.jpg

Not sure what you are expecting from Dell given the laptop is nearly 9 years old. Laptop Magazine reviewed them in April 2011.

Also I am not expecting Dell to fix the issue, they probably wound't even do that on a new machine. I am simply wondering if it is a factory thing or damage caused to the laptop by a drop.

Does not change the fact that I paid $1400 for the computer. I'f it was $300 I would expect Dell to not care but a laptop that costs as much as a used car should last me more than 9 years.
