E6430 CPU Upgrade
Hi All,
I was wondering if someone can help...I have a Latitude E6430 it has 16 gig of RAM Windows 10, Samsung 860 EVO drive,upgraded screen 1600x900 resolution,back lit keyboard, Intel on-board graphics,and the 7260 Intel wireless card
I am looking to upgrade the CPU from an I5-3320 2.6 GHZ Dual core to an i7-3540M 3.0GHz Dual Core or possibly a quad core I7 can this be done without worrying about overheating issues or modifications
I basically use the machine for processing photos,watching movies no game playing
I actually can get the i7-3540M 3.0GHz Dual Core for around $60.......is it worth it to do this upgrade ????

I recently upgraded my Dell E6430 from i5-3320M to i7-3740QM (bought from ebay for $47). The installation was very easy. The only issue is that I had to reinstall windows 10. My laptop runs much faster. I use it for Photoshop and limited video editing.
I thought about upgrading to i7-3840QM, which is the fast CPU this model can support, but it is much more expensive (about $95), but the performance is not much better than i7-3740QM.
