E7240 LCD cable
this cable has a very flimsy wire connection to motherboard. very easy to break when dissembling.
so I have a laptop that has this cable broken. it goes to JLED socket on mothterboard. yet laptop display is not affected. so what is this flimsy cable for? It must serve some purpose but I can not figure out.
incidentally the touchpad on palmrest incld mouse stopped working after I put it together. I do not think it is related to the LCD cable?

this cable is belongs to power management / battery management LEDs blinking back side panels.

Hi, was the problem solved? Could that cable have something to do with the touchpad?
