How to change the boot logo ?

Hello !

Some motherboards allow changing the boot image (logo) when you update the BIOS, so you can see the image of your choice when your computer is starting.

Failing that, some people say you could in general unpack the BIOS update executable, look for the known logo file in there, replace it and re-pack the executable. I figure this requires disabling the signature checks, if such an option exists, for a Dell Laptop

Is there a way to do this with my DELL laptop please ? -- Latitude 3590

Thank you

Hello Xoughy,

you can change the boot logo trough the BIOS, to enter the BIOS you need to:

Download any image to use as boot logo (make sure the boot logo has black backround and isnt a completely black icon, and it should be maximum 300x300 px).
Restart your computer/laptop.
When the Dell logo appears on the screen, quickly press F2.
Wait for the BIOS to load.

When you load into the BIOS, search for ANY customization options.

Search for BOOT customization options in the BIOS.

Select the image you want to use as the boot logo.

NOTE: The BIOS may be different (depends on the computer/laptop version youre using. For an example i have a Dell Precision 7510 and my old laptop has Dell Vostro *i forgot wich version* and both of the laptops have a different BIOS)
