Installing "Dell Command | Deploy WinPE 10.0 Driver Pack" cab file on Ubuntu 22.04
Latitude 9430
Hi!
I got "Dell Command | Deploy WinPE 10.0 Driver Pack" listed for my "Dell Latitude 9430" with Ubuntu 22.04 manually installed laptop: Drivers / Downloads. Searching the web I was not able to find anything useful on how to install this CAB file on Linux. Can someone advice me on this please?

That is for Windows not Ubuntu. See- Dell Command | Deploy WinPE 10.0 Driver Pack | Driver Details | Dell US

The file is listed for Ubuntu though

I notice two years later they still have CAB files for Ubuntu and Red Hat firmware updates - but no information on how to install them.

@timekills figured out how to do it via this post - https://askubuntu.com/questions/1153546/issues-updating-firmware-using-fwupdmgr-update
but it is ridiculous to provide an obscure file type and not include installation instructions

@Mary G and its not great customer service to presume your customers are doing things wrong when in fact they are doing things correctly and Dell are just not providing them with answers.
