Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Settings - 7390

I am unable to see the intel dynamic platform and thermal framework settings on my brand new Latitude 7390 (non 2-in-1, touch screen 8650U model). See below the settings. image1.png

I need to access my TPU settings - why is the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Settings not visible?

Unfortunately I can't open the image....

Please enter the service tag number (or use Detect PC)onto the link below:

Support | Dell US

In your Dell Product Support page,

Install the latest chipset (Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework) drivers onto the system. You can either install one by one or select Detect Drivers to search for the Chipset drivers and other much needed drivers, and firmware for the system.

I didn't understand your reference to "Unfortunately I can't open the link.." ? What link? I did not provide a link in my post.

Also, all the drivers are up to date.

I can't see the image or settings....

Please manually reinstall the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework driver.

As I mentioned, I already have the latest and greatest installed. See below

Uninstalled the driver + the device ( Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Generic Participant).

Then restarted. But despite uninstalling, the device manager showed the " Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Generic Participant", once i restarted.

Nevertheless, I again uninstalled the driver + device, and this time installed the driver using that link without restarting the computer. It made no difference

You can see the information that you listed but we can't see it at all. This has something to do with the forum. Hopefully the Dell team will fix the problem in the near future.

As for Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework, uninstall the driver and then reinstall it from the link below:

You look at the Power Options settings?

If no, type Settings [Cortana] onto the search box, click on System, Power & Sleep, look far right of screen and select Additional Power Settings, Change Plan Settings, and then Change Advanced Power Settings. Hopefully you'll see the Intel Dynamic Platform and Framework settings listed.

Crappy Power Options dialog is not resizable so this is a composite image

" Also, all the drivers are up to date "

You mentioned the drivers are updated but how about the System Setup(BIOS) ? If you haven't updated the BIOS, I suggest you do so by following the steps in link below to safety installed the latest BIOS version.

Yes, all system driver, BIOS etc. etc. everything is up to date. This is a brand new system and the first thing I did was to update all drivers, BIOs  etc.

I have accessed the power settings, advanced settings but I do not see the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Settings anywhere.

I have posted the images (are these not visible?) in my original posts to show what all options I have, and " Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework " is not one of them

We still can't see the images...

Since this is a brand new computer, I suggest you contact Technical Support for further assistance in the link below.
