Latitude 3340: Windows Recovery Error, Help Please!
I have been using my dell latitude E3340 fine, but as of today it started misbehaving and the windows can start, the OS can't be boot on either.
I got two type of errors, one is: “Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error
info, and then we'll restart for you.
If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this error: 0x000021a”
And the second is: “Recoery
It looks like Windows didn't load correctly
If you'd like to restart and try again, choose "Restart my PC below. Otherwise, choose "See advanced repair options" for troubleshooting tools and advanced options. If you don't know which option is right for you, contact someone you trust to help witth this.”
I have tried many solutions from the Advanced Recovery Option but they all failed. I don't know what to do next. Bail me out please.
I have even try the reset the PC, but it always failed at 18%
I have tried all the steps in the Advanced Option, but the PC failed to execute them, even the sfc /scannow.
Help Please.

Since a dying or dead hard drive is a very likely prospect, verify the integrity of the drive first.
At powerup, press F12 several times immediately. From the boot menu, choose Diagnostics. Let the initial diagnostics run, and then select the hard drive and run a surface test (this will take up to several hours depending on the capacity of the drive). If the drive fails the diagnostic, replace it.
While you're running the diagnostics, if you do not have one, you'll need to prepare a flash drive to recover the system either way - replacement drive or not. Details here:
