Latitude 3400 interlal microphone missing
Hello, I have 100 Latitude 3410 to deploy and after 25 of them (which worked perfectly) I've seen that none of them has internal microphone.
I have deployed them with MDT using the .cab file that dell gives here : https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/fr-fr/000107698/latitude-3410-windows-10-pack-de-pilotes (french version)
So I've tested to deploy two of them manually with a classic usb boot etc
And it's still the same, they don't have internal microphone. Even after Dell Command updates.

I didn't found any post like mine on internet so I open it lol

We have the same problem 500+ Notebooks, a few of them have no mic. Do you have support and ask them what's going on?

Hello, nice to see that we are not the only one.. I havent contacted Dell for this issue. But after a windows 10 update (with the windows insider program) on one with that microphone issue, the microphone appeared. So maybe, the next windows 20h1 update will fix it.

Finally I have found why this has happened, I've installed windows manually with an usb key and with MDT WDS, the first one with usb had microphone but the seconde didn't. I have desactivated the "inject drivers" task in the task sequence (I had the 3410 dell driver package provided by dell). And after that the PCs made with mdt wds had their microphone up !
