Latitude 5310 Sleep Key
I had the same problem locating the sleep key on an Inspiron 7577: The sleep button option is present under Power Options in Windows 10, but no sleep button or key symbol exists to indicate its location. The Inspiron's sleep key combination turned out to be Fn+insert, but this appears to toggle numlock on/off on this model.
As I understand, the presence of the sleep button option under Power Options means the laptop does have a dedicated sleep button or key combination. Does anybody have an idea what this key combination might be?

Ok, this model obviously doesn't have a functioning sleep key combination, but the sleep button shows up in Power Options and in Device Manager. Systems without a sleep button/key should not present the sleep button option in Power Options.

Note the missing description for Fn+insert for numlock on/off - it's clearly marked on the insert key. This is the same key combination as for sleep mode on other Dell laptops (7577, 5590 etc.). It seems Dell decided to leave the sleep button in BIOS but removed it from the keyboard in favor of numlock, then couldn't decide what to write about the key combination in the manual. Very sloppy.

The F9 key does not have an Fn key combination assigned to it, whereas insert is usually reserved for sleep mode:
Dell should have made F9 the numlock key. That way we could have had both the numlock key and the apparently existent but defunct sleep button. Come on guys, it's called common sense.
