Latitude 5420, Inspiron 24 5415 used as second screen
Inspiron 24 5415 All-in-One
Hi, I've loaded all the latest drivers and am using my Inspiron 24 5415 as a second screen to my laptop. Occasionally the PC will just jump back to the PC screen, and once it starts it continues to switch back every few minutes. HAs anyone else experienced this? I'm connecting a Dell Latitude 5420 and I've changed HDMI cables.

If your Inspiron 24 5415 is still under warranty, you may want to contact Dell Tech Support. Have the Service Tag handy. (Don't post Service Tag here.)
Is the Latitude idle and/or sleeping when this happens?
Is some background process running on the Inspiron that's causing the problem?
Can you try booting the Inspiron in Safe Mode to see if the problem persists? (CAVEAT: Don't know if the HDMI-IN port on the Inspiron will work in Safe Mode.)
Any chance you can test with a different laptop or AIO as second screen to see if the problem is with this Inspiron 24 5415 or with the Latitude?
