Latitude 5490 left & right mouse buttons not working
My Latitude 5490 left & right keyboard mouse buttons have stopped working. These are the buttons below the touch pad. The left and right buttons above the touch pad work okay. I have tried reinstalling drivers, I have checked the touch pad settings but I cannot get the bottom buttons to work.
Is this a know issue with this model? Does anyone know how this can be resolved, whether this is a software issue or hardware related?

Check all touchpad settings to see if there is an option to disable the lower buttons. If there is such a setting, try selecting and unselecting it.
I would open the laptop to examine the state of the battery. A swollen battery puts pressure on the touchpad, so touchpad issues can be the first sign of a swollen battery.
