Latitude 5501 Logitech H800 wireless headset mute button not working when connected via Bluetooth

Just bought a Logitech H800 wireless headset. Managed to pair the laptop and headset via Bluetooth, listening and talking worked fine during conf. call with Skype for Business and MS Teams. However, the physical mute button on the headset doesn't mute the mic when connected to the laptop via Bluetooth.

Mute button worked if connected via Bluetooth to my phone and using Skype for Business.

Mute button worked if connected wirelessly to the provided USB dongle on the same laptop.

Is there some limitations of the Bluetooth driver/chip on the laptop limiting the headset's functionality ?
