Latitude 7430 Hard Drive not showing up when trying to do a clean install of Windows 11?

Could this be a new security feature of Dell's "SafeBios"?  Never encountered this issue before in older gens.
This 7430 came with windows 10 pro.  I went through the setup process to boot into Windows 10.  I even turned off Bitlocker as it can force some backup software to do a longer sector by sector but no luck. Both Easeus todo backup and Windows 11 install usb do not see the system drive.  What could it be and how do I correct it?

Assuming that you created the Windows installer properly,

Windows installer cannot see your internal drive, probably because you have RAID enabled. Windows installer doesn't include the Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers that are necessary for RAID. You would have to pause the Windows installer to insert the drivers, such as in this process:

Note that there are two separate driver downloads and you need both of them.

An alternative is to enter BIOS and switch RAID to AHCI, then boot from your installer. With AHCI enabled, the Windows installer will see your drive without need of the Intel drivers. Unless you need RAID, this is a simpler solution.

Changing it to AHCI/NVME worked. Thanks.
Although if it's a new laptop, you'll get a reboot loop with the factory setup that was installed in RAID mode. Not sure if booting into safe mode is possible before initial user setup.
