You can upgrade the RAM to as much as 32G, and replace the  SATA drive with an NVMe drive.

Nothing else (CPU, GPU) is upgradeable.

It's great that you got a good deal on the laptop and that you're interested in upgrading it. Here are a few potential upgrades you could consider:

  1. Upgrade the RAM: Since the laptop has room for another stick of RAM, you could consider upgrading to 16GB total. This could help improve performance, especially if you're running multiple applications at once.

  2. Upgrade the storage: If you need more storage space, you could consider upgrading the SATA hard drive to a larger one or even replacing it with a solid-state drive (SSD) for faster read/write speeds.

  3. Upgrade the CPU: While it's possible to upgrade the CPU, it can be a complex process and may not be worth the effort or expense unless you're experiencing significant performance issues.

  4. Upgrade the Wi-Fi card: If you're experiencing slow Wi-Fi speeds or poor connectivity, you could consider upgrading the Wi-Fi card to a newer and faster one that supports the latest Wi-Fi standards.

  5. Clean the cooling system: Over time, the laptop's cooling system can become clogged with dust and debris, which can lead to overheating and performance issues. Consider cleaning the fans and vents to ensure proper airflow and cooling.

Keep in mind that some upgrades may require technical expertise and may void any warranty on the laptop. Be sure to research thoroughly and follow proper procedures when performing any upgrades.
