Latitude 7490 Password Security Manager
I am trying to contact Dell about the password to this used Dell laptop I recently bought from Renew Computers. When I bought it I was under the impression that it wouldn't be locked but of course as soonas I got it home and tried turning it on it is asking me for a password.

Contact the seller. If they cannot or will not provide an unlock, return the system for a refund -- anything else will cost you at least a support call fee to Dell, and that will still require you have the system transferred to your name -- which in turn requires knowing the current registered owner's information.
