Latitude E5550 charger non functional
Good day,
The Dell Latitude E5550 have been in storage for a month, battery is now discharged on connecting the charger the little ring light on the charger end goes off and nothing happens. I have tried other chargers as well same result. Could it be the charging port? I have removed the battery, same result. Any advise would be helpful.

Try replacing the cmos battery that retains the bios settings when the computer is not connected to a power outlet. See your manual for instructions. https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/latitude-e5550-laptop/docs
You could also have a dead battery and/or bad adapter. Remove the battery and try the adapter alone.
