Latitude E6520 CMOS Battery
Hi folks,
My cmos battery died and I want to replace it myself.
Is the white connector a standardized item? I asked a couple of hardware sellers if their battery (CR2032) is compatible with my system and they said no

Underneath, it is a standard CR-2032 lithium battery but unless you want to construct your own using the existing connector and some dielectric tape, you'll likely need to order the part - unless you're in a major metro area, you probably won't find one stocked locally.

It looks like most of the E-series systems use the same CMOS battery. I wouldn't extend that to other models (Inspiron, XPS, etc.) or even the older D-series systems. Even if the connector fits, also check the polarity of the terminals.

I don't want to make my own, I just want to know if the connector is standardized so I can buy something that looks 90% like the one I got even though the model number is not listed in the listing
