Latitude E6540, bluetooth have small sound quality
My name is Son. I have a Latitude E6540 with Service tag <Shipped March 27, 2014. Warranty expired 7 years/7 months/25 days ago on March 28, 2017. DELL-Admin>. I have installed Windows 10 X64.
Today, I have a issue and need some support.
- When I use jack phone 3.5mm ( IER-H500A SONY) connect to E6540, the sound is good.
- When I use true wireless sony WF-C700N connect to E6540, the sound is difficult to listen. it's small sound. I enlarge the volume but it is small.
- When I use true wireless sony WF-C700N connected to 7550 Precision (Windows 10 X64), the sound is good.
Can you explain this cause and instruct me how to fix.?

The issue could have been caused by anything. From the bluetooth adapter you are using with the Latitude. To the setting in Dell Audio app or Waves Maxx was not properly set. Or, simply the volume in Audio Mix.
For usage purpose, you can choose to use the wired headphones with the Latitude and use the bluetooth headphones with the Precision.

If you're using the original bluetooth card from the E6540, it's over a decade old and likely does not support the full feature set of your headphones. Replacing it with a newer bluetooth adapter (preferably a nano USB one, as the older mini PCIe socket on the notebook will severely restrict your choices in newer bluetooth support) will make an immense difference.

Hi all,
i just bought a nano USB Adaptor Bluetooth 5.3 from Tp-LINK.
i disable existing bluetooth devices from Device Manage on windows. I insert the adapter into a USB port on my E6540, install bluetooth driver 5.3 of nano Adaptor And connect to WF-C700N but the sound is so small.
i don't know the cause of this issue.
