Latitude E7250: Video won't remain full screen, typing issues, Windows issues
Had this problem on and off since my friend gave me this Latitude E7250. First, it was impossible to type as either nothing would enter into text fields, or I'd have to enter character 1 second apart, and/or at about 3 or 4 characters in, everything would disappear.
I reinstalled Windows 10 and then found that OneDrive was causing the problem; I removed OneDrive and I was able to type fine.
A couple of years have gone by. Last year I connected this laptop to a larger monitor and now watch video on it with the larger monitor (Window + P).
Now I only use that laptop for streaming video and controlling my security cameras.
A while ago, starting maybe a couple of months ago, if I tried to watch video in full screen on Netflix, Amazon, or anything, the video suddenly reverted to being back in a small window onscreen. Sometimes I could make it stick in fullscreen by trying over and over until it stuck.
A couple of nights ago (coinciding with a Windows 10 update), it became impossible to keep video in fullscreen; it snapped back into a small window almost immediately. Also, 'Window + P' stopped working predictably. I opened it up, chose to view the larger monitor, and when the video went small, I tried to change it back to the laptop screen. The 'Window + P' menu briefly stuck out about 25% from the right side of the screen, and immediately snapped back into the margin again. I tried to access the web to find solutions but couldn't type. No characters were appearing in the text field. By changing the speed with which I hit keys, I managed to get some characters in, and by leaving a second or two between each character, by and large I managed to make them stay in the text field but not enough to do a search for answers. Restarting the computer didn't help except I was able to 'Window + P' to get everything back to just the PC screen. The other problems remained
This laptop has had these problems since I got it. My friend never used it, which is why he passed it onto me, so he is unfamiliar with this.
Does it sound at all familiar to others here, and does someone have a solution?

I would run Dell Diagnostics.
I would also update the BIOS. While it is risky to do so, having too old version of BIOS is not a good idea.

Dell Diagnostics will only do the Quick Test. Every time I try to do the Full Test, it self-cancels before it finishes. But there were several things that failed:
PCI Simple Communications Controller
Broadcom USH
PCIeStatus
SM Bus Controller
UsbStatus
Everything else that's scanned in the Quick Test passed, except the battery; it came to me unchargeable, which is why I always leave it plugged in.
I don't know what those things that failed mean. I can't do a Full Test, and this seems to be the only test I can do. I downloaded something that was offered to me, but it turned out to be for some kind of peripheral speakers I don't have, I think (Logitech). At any rate, it didn't find what it was looking for.
As for updating the BIOS, I can try doing that once I've fully looked up the steps. The laptop is obviously out of warranty, and I don't know if that's why the full test won't run.
Any thoughts as to where I should go from here?

Am I getting no further advice because the laptop is out of warranty?
