LATITUTE 7420
Hi, I have a latitude 7420, the screen wont come on its black, lights on keyboard and fan comes on but screen is black, also caps lock light is on and wont turn off when pressed, could you please help me.

Have you installed any updates before the problem occurred? Also the caps lock light indicates power is on to the MB.

@HSB007 You could try a reset. Disconnect the battery and the adapter. Then press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Then reconnect everything and try to boot again. This page at Wikihow has a number of other suggestions.

Hi @HSB007 did you try hooking up an external monitor to the HDMI port? It would tell you if the problem is your display panel or something else.
