LED codes for Latitude E5430?

Question

Hello. My attempt to upgrade a CPU in an E5430 (SR0MZ -> SR0X6) went wrong. The machine had a flat main battery, and whenever I attempted to turn it on without AC, not only did it shut down after just a couple of seconds, subsequent power up would indicate RTC clock power loss, indicating that the RTC (coin cell) battery was also bad. So I before I actually put the new CPU in, I disassembled the laptop to replace the RTC battery (IMHO pretty crazy that replacing the RTC battery requires getting whole system board out of the chassis). The replacement was a generic CR2032 with a cable and a connector, which I assume is equivalent to whatever Dell uses, although I was surprised to see capacity printed on the original battery - I thought this was done only with rechargeables. After reassembling a putting in the new CPU, attempting to power up the machine results in this sequence: Press power button. Caps lock LED blinks once, optical drive seeks to its parking position, power LED comes on - normal power-up stuff. The screen does not come on. Retrying later with external displays (both VGA and HDMI) reveals no output on those either. CPU is heating up and after 5-10 seconds, the fan comes on. After about 3-5 seconds of fan spin, the machine shuts down (power LED off, fan spins down, storage LED flashes momentarily). A second later, some LED code is produced: power LED: solid off storage LED: blinking continuously wireless LED: solid on battery LED: solid on I found this documentation for generic LED diagnostic codes, but it only lists Latitude laptops from 2015 and later (I believe the E5430 is 2013 model?). I also found the LED codes in the owner's manual for E5450, and none of them match the pattern seen on my machine. The manual for E5430 doesn't have this section in the manual. What I've tried (and unless stated otherwise, resulted in no change; all of this was without the main battery, since it's effectively dead): Replaced CPU with the original one. The display diagnostics (D + power button) work fine - display lights up and cycles through solid colours. Reassembe again with disconnected the RTC battery - no change (I reassembled again with the battery connected, since I don't want to take the machine apart again when/if the powerup issue is fixed). Power up with no HDD Remove power sources (battery and AC), hold power button for 30 seconds. Power up with no HDD, no RAM.
