max. Ram capacity Latitude E5430
I would like to ask you what’s the maximum RAM capacity for Dell Latitude E5430 (i5).
In the manual it is written that the max capacity is 16 GB.

On the other hand, in the Dell site it is written that the max. system RAM capacity is 8 GB.
Should I use DDR3 or DD3L so-dimms (1600 MHz) ?
Which of the above is the correct info ?

The manual is correct -16 gb, but updating an 8 yr old laptop to 16 gb is not practical. Better to use it as is until it needs replacing which could be sooner than later. If you still want to add ram--

Best to replace all the ram if you want to upgrade which makes it less economical. Ram chips should match since memory runs at the slowest chip's speed.

Does the motherboard of Latitude E5430 support dual channel memory or just single channel ?

Yes it does.
The memory must be a matching pair.

In the BIOS it is called "Dual Interleave"

$90 for 16 GB seems like a waste of money given the age of the laptop.
The only upgrade I would make is SSD. I have the E6230 running Windows 10 on SSD and with 8 GB of RAM and it is more than fast enough.

Me recomendar una marca y modelo de la memoria RAM para una Del Laitude E5430, y otra pregunta, si es posible y práctico ponerle 16GB de RAM? funcionará bien?
