Monitor 2 goes Black (not recognized)
Work updated my computer to a Latitude 5421. The laptop fails to recognize monitor 2 (two monitors total) when it wakes up from sleep or is inactive.. The problem is fixed with a reboot, or I believe I can fix the issue by unplugging the laptop from the power supply (USB2) (dock) and reconnecting it. When I reconnect it picks up Monitor 2.
The laptop came with a WD19TBS dock (thunder Bolt?) but in the home office I'm using a WD19 if that makes a difference. I changed the setting from 59 Hz to 60 Hz, no help. Two monitors are shown in setup but won't identify monitor 2. I think I switched around cables but believe monitor2 still goes black.. Help appreciated. Note: Most setting are IT controlled.
Thanks

1) Press the menu button on your monitor and select Menu.
2) Go to Other Settings, then select Factory Reset. Check if this fixed your problem.
If your monitor still goes black randomly, your issue is very likely caused by a hardware failure.
