my alienware computer wont boot

i have an alienware laptop that i got from a friend but the thing is it wont boot into windows. but it can go into bios and pree boot and i could run tests. this just dont make scence. everytime i try to run windows boot manager it shows a black screen then it just turns off and reboots. i need hel
