My Latitude 5440

I have had my Latitude 5440 for about a year and the machine was procured to take over from my old Lenovo T14. The Dell is definitely a lot faster and with PCIe 4.0 I can install a faster SSD if needed.

I bough ba TeamGroup M.2 2230 1TB for the machine as the OEM SSD is already wearing out. The larger capacity mode should hold out a bit longer. So far 2TB is the largest out there but I expect 4TB will surface sooner or later.

I noticed DW5931e is the part number for a 5G cellular modem which makes this machine mucn h more helpful.

The Wifi antenna works a lot better than my old XPS 15 9570 which has a module at the bottom of the LCD instead of the more common LCD edge, I like that the Wi-Fi card is slotted so if it dies I can replace it.

Dual RAM slots are great as I can use dual channel to allow my CPU to run Excel and other larger workloads.
