New battery doesn't work
Dell Latutude 5511, bought a new battery(original dell one), installed it. Now my laptop works only with the charger plugged in and the precentage stays at 0%.
I tried draining the power without the battery.
I tried reinstalling all sorts of drivers.
My system is up to date.
AC adapter is recognised in BIOS.
I reset BIOS setting to default.
When doing hardware check I get this: Battery - Fail - Percent Charge - D0301
No Events found!

Dell battery purchased from Dell, or from elsewhere? OEM battery or third party?

Bought from some retailer, do not know if it is OEM battery or third party

They should have a warranty on the battery -- contact them for a replacement or a refund.
You're likely better off with an OEM battery.

I ordered a replacement, I think the issue is most likely that I got a broken product.
