Performance issue with Intel WiFi 6 (AX201 160)
I have a Latitude 7520 with an Intel WiFi 6 AX201 wireless adapter, which is performing really bad.
This has been the case for a while. It wasn't performing that bad from the beginning. I think it started late January.
Speed test result is 13mbps down and 220mbps up. I have a 1000/500 fiber connection.
I have read a number of posts here in this community and several others with simiilar issues on different laptops/wfi adapters an followed the suggestions, which includes:
1) The "famous" hard reset
2) Updating Intel drivers to latest version.
3) Upgraded to Windows 11
4) Changed several properties on the adapter configuration.
5) Inspected my Netgear ORBI router and satelites for any indication of misconfiguration of QoS and WMM
Nothing has helped at all.
Anyone with similar experiences?

Have you had any luck with this? I have one user that has an ax201 that will stop working halfway every few days. I can remote in, ping host names, but no web sites will load until I do a winsock reset via command line.

I have had a similar experience with the Intel(R) wi-fi 6 AX201 wireless adapter. I have 1 GB connection. A recent test (Dec 2023) revealed around 700mbps hardwired into the modem, but only around 100mbps over wifi, from the same location. Updating to the latest driver actually made the network adapter perform worse. Dell support has said it is a software issue, not a network or hardware issue, but I need to pay them to trouble-shoot further and fix it as my basic warranty does not cover this. They also suggested a complete OS re-install which I'd rather do only as a last resort. I'd love to hear ideas about what software could be the issue and how to update/fix it.
