Replacing Windows with Linux
Is there an option to run Linux to replace Windows on the Latitude 3520?
Since Microsoft disabled my purchased Office desktop software and is forcing cloud-based Office 365, I'm looking to replace everything Microsoft related. I do not want to run my business or personal data from a cloud where strangers have access to it. They also keep doing updates that I don't agree to, adding AI and other invasive apps and capabilities onto my personal computers and devices.
Suggestions to replace Microsoft for a safer platform?

Linux Mint and OpenOffice running perfect on the 3520.
You can grab UBUNTU, XUBUNTU ... distros. All will work.
I prefer the MINT distro.
