Rugged 5430 not turning on
i have a month old laptop that wont turn on. The battery light on the bottom blinks 4 green and 2 orange, the battery shows full bars when you click on it. Ive tried removing the battery and holding the power button for 30s to discharge. But still wont power up. The keyboard lights up but the screen does not

That diagnostic light sequence indicates a RAM failure. Try reseating the RAM and if that does not help try one RAM module at a time. If it boots with one of the modules but not the other then you have found the bad RAM module. Being under warranty I would also suggest calling Dell tech support or click on the Get Help Now button on the bottom of the page.
