Snapdragon X20 LTE-A (DW5821e) with or without e-SIM difference?

Hi,

Is there any difference between these options? If so, what is it?
If you choose e-sim, do they remove the uSIM slot?
If there is no difference, I don't see why there would be an option as they are the same price.
