TB16 Thunderbolt Dock - firmware update issue
Hi guys,
I'm trying to update my docking station TB16, using the latest update package DellDockingStationFwUp_1.0.5_TB16_20210716.exe
I disconnected all peripherals from it before, but the update process end always with 2 failures:
Dock NVM - current ver NONE - new version 00.00.27
Cable NVM - current ver NONE - new version 00.00.16
All others features were updated.
TB16 is connected to my Dell Latitude 5290 2in1 and I'm running Windows 10 21H1 with Thunderbolt controller drivers 1.41.1094.0

You may need a specific/older Thunderbolt Controller Driver version to be able to update the TB16 firmware.

Run Windows Update to ensure that the operating system is up to date. Run SupportAssist for Business PC's, or Dell Command | Update (Precision, XPS, and Latitude) or Dell Update (Vostro, Inspiron, and G-Series) to update the computer BIOS and Drivers for both the computer and dock

How do you get the TB16 firmware updated if you're running Windows 11?
I am stuck on the Dock NVM update: 00.00.16 --> 00.00.27 Fails
