TPM Device Not Detected

Last year I updated my bios on Latitude 5480 and ever since I get TPM Device not detected error on starting the laptop. I have to hit F1 to bypass it. Downgraded bios to 1.32 version and still the error  does not go away. I guess my laptop does not have TPM hardware as it does not show up in bios settings. 

Any suggestions welcome.
