VMware Workstation does not support nested virtualization on this host. Module 'HV' power on failed
Latitude 5550
Hello team, Windows 11 pro, Version 10.0.26100 build 26100 is installed on my laptop. The system manufacturer is Dell. So I have problerm to start nested virtual machine (esxi) by vmware workstation. In the bios virtualizazion support section every section is selected. Is there some cpu limitation.
I have followed come guide found in some forum like this https://www.leonidassavvides.com/blog/2023/10/problems-with-nested-virtualization-in-vmware-vms-the-solution-worked-for-me/ but I can't disable the Virtualization Base Security.
Thanks

I am working on setting the current version of EVE-NG to work on network certifications and I am having the same problem with a Dell/Alienware laptop using Windows 11 Pro version 10.0.26200 Build 26200.
The following:
when looking at the task manager / performance at the bottom virtualization is enabled
I am also attempting to upgrade VMWorkstation to 26H1 and I have received the following message.
"WMware Workstation can use either its own hypervisor or the windows hypervisor platform.
the installer detected that the lost has Hyper-V or Device/Credintial guard enabled , so the virtual machines will be running using windows hyper-V platform. Nested virtualization will not be available.
Please post a fix to this, no matter how minor. - Thanks
I am a network guy but becoming a Virtualization guy very quickly :)
