Waves MaxxAudio Pro Not Working on Windows 10 Version 1903
I am having an issue with MaxxAudio Pro with Windows 10 Version 1903. Every time I plug in a set of headphones or computer speakers, I no longer get the little pop-up that asks me what I just plugged in (even though I have the box check marked to do so). It immediately switches to the headphones or speakers. And when I open the actual EQ, it only gives me an option for "Internal Speakers", nothing else. I have also tried uninstalling the current, up-to-date version, and installing previous versions of Waves MaxxAudio Pro, and the issue still persists. Any ideas or tips?
Computer is a Dell Latitude 5490.

Are you still having this issue? We're now encountering it with the newer Latitude 7400, and I can trace it back to the older E7470.

To the recent poster;
Did it ever work on that 7400? If not, do some searching here on the forum. You need to ADD the media feature to windows and it will automatically load the correct software needed.

Add Remove Programs / Optional Features
See if you have "Media Feature Pack". If not, add it. Then reboot - Windows does not tell you to do this.
I have posted this elsewhere on the forum. To see if you need it for sure, go to MaxxAudio and click the test button in the bottom right corner. If you hear the test tones, you might not need the pack. If you get a warning about drivers, then you absolutely need the pack.

As I've now posted elsewhere [see my post under "Dell 7400 Headphone Jack Not Working," for example], the ticket appears to be to uninstall the Waves app and Realtek drivers, and allow Windows to take over. Best move I've made RE: these audio issues!
