WD19TBS ethernet has intermittent connectivity issues

When using my work laptop with a WD19TBS dock I have intermittent connectivity issues.

This is most noticeable when working with a remote citrix session. The session is disconnected at random while the ethernet link itself remains operational.

At first I suspected something was wrong with the citrix client or my home network. But those potential causes were easily ruled out by switching to the laptop's built-in ethernet port with the exact same ethernet cable.That worked fine. Also working over WiFi did not cause any issues. This is fine as a workaround, but I would love to simply use the network connection from the dock.

Further troubleshooting steps:

• Upgraded Windows 11 drivers to most recent version
• Upgraded dock firmware to most recent version
• Swapped laptop

But unfortunately none of this resolved the problem.

I really think I have done all I can and could really use some tips.
