Why do we keep getting vague private messages?

I make a post in the forum, I just want user feedback about something. I don't need to give out my Service Tag, and most of my devices are out of warranty anyway.

I just keep getting these vague private messages with random info or questions apparently related to posts I've made but I don't know which ones.

These messages are effectively spam at this point.

How do we stop this? Or at least get Dell to specify which post they're talking about...

Note: I tried posting in a more general forum, but Dell's forum categories are nonsense like having "About Dell Community" and "About the Dell Community", and a sub-forum of "Members" makes me choose from categories like "Diffusion" or "Chimera" and other weird science-y names...
