Windows Hello on E7450 with external Webcam

I use my E7450 in a docking station with the lid shut almost 100% of the time, so I disabled its internal webcam in the BIOS and purchased a Logitech Brio 4K USB webcam, which is Windows Hello compliant and hooks on top of my external monitor.

Despite having the latest build of Windows 10 version 1903 and all the up-to-date drivers installed for my Brio 4K, I can't register my face in Windows Hello Face Recognition. Could it be that ControlVault is stopping it working, as it may not be expecting biometric data? Is there a Dell approved way method to disable ControlVault and have Windows 10 save the biometric data to disk, in order to troubleshoot this?
