WWAN for
I recently purchased a Latitude 5520 without the WWAN option. I would like to retrofit it with WWAN capabilities. I installed a Fibocom Wireless DW5820e 7360 LTE-A module, (win11pro operating system) and regardless of the APN settings, it does not connect. Sees the Vodafone network but shows no service. Is WWAN mode not compatible? Thank you.

That would be a question for the service provider -- though if the system shipped without antennas for the WWAN card, did you replace the display panel with one having the antenna leads?

It had the antennas, including the SIM socket.

If so, then it's a question for your service provider -- if you can see the network but not connect, the issue is with them, not the system.
