Disabled CTR monitor

Hello there. I accidentally Disabled my monitor. Now I just see the Windows icon charging for a few seconds and its all that I get after that the screen just go black and the power button in the monitor goes yellow. What should I do?

First off, can you clarify that you are using Linux, as this is a Linux forum. I will assume for now that when you say "Windows icon" that this is a graphical icon of some sort on a Linux system. Which distribution are you using? The first thing I would check is if the problem might be with a bad X-server configuration or a hardware problem. Several checks that you might try are to hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys and then while they are held down hit the number '1'. Do this after the system loads and the screen goes blank. In a lot of distributions this will get you to a command line prompt and bypasses the X-server. Another way would be to boot the Linux setup disk and see if it works. Most of them have a Rescue option for trying to fix a broken install. Since it sounds like you are seeing a display during the BIOS portion of the startup, I'm guessing it is a bad X-server configuration.

Thanks For the info. Sorry I wasn't especific enugh. I dont have linux. I rebooted the window XP. now I tried to boot it again with the CD but nothing happened. But I'll try what you recomeded.  Thanks Again
