Driver for DW700 A-GPS module of the Dell mini 10 ?

Hi,

I own a Dell mini 1010 with an A-GPS module on it. It work perfectly well in Windows, but I'm a Linux professional in my work and would appreciate a completely fonctional netbook. I've remarked that in Ubuntu 10.04 the GPS module is associated as a usb-to-serial device on /dev/ttyUSB0. Unfortunately, I've been unable to get anything useful from it.

Anybody is aware of a Linux driver for this module ?

If there is no driver I could work on one, but would require assistance and technical details to achieve this goal.

Could I get assistance from Dell ?
