Ckick on the wireless icon on the taskbar.  It will display all networks in range.

When I try running the following command:

 

iwlist scan

 

I get the following response: 

 

lo          Interface doesn't support scanning.

eth0      Interface doesn't support scanning.

eth1      Interface doesn't support scanning.

When I click on the networking icon, all I get are a "greyed out" option for wired network and an option for manual configuration.

Dell Chat resolved this issue (Depsite not being able to support Linux, kudos to them).  I had taken it out of roaming mode while exploring the network manager GUI!
