If you are running Windows, open up the 'Mouse' Control Panel and you can adjust any/all settings for the trackpad there. This works the same on pretty much any newer trackpad.

I have a recent Dell XPS 14 and would like to do the same thing.
The control panel does not offer this option.

Hi MarkE77,
The configuration options for the TouchPad are located on the TouchPad properties page. To open the properties page:

Click the link at the bottom ("Click to change Dell Touchpad settings"). The resulting window may appear different than in the previous response (it changes depending on the touchpad being used and the version of course).

When I view mouse properties I don't have any TouchPad tab, where can I adjust the touchpad properties?
Windows 8.1, brand new Dell XPS 13.

Where I think this gets confusing is Windows 8.1 really has two separate areas with mixed settings for computers. The traditional Control Panel and the "Settings" pane. For the new 2015 XPS 13 you would want to go into the Settings pane, not the Control Panel to find these properties. To get there:
Click the Windows Start Button (or press the Windows key)
Type: Settings and the search will popup on the right side of the screen as you type.
Click on Settings then PC and Devices
On the PC and Devices list you will see "Mouse and Touchpad", click this.
Now on the right side scroll down to the option Reverse Scrolling Direction and turn this on.
You touchpad scrolling should now be set how you wanted.

I'm not sure which OS you are running. In Xubuntu it is under Mouse and Touchpad and it is called 'Reverse scroll direction.'

Found a solution for win 8.1, there is a setting called some like "change touchpad scrolling direction" in control panels, but in "modern section" only, not in legacy control panels. It helps me with my dell xps 13 mod 2015, where is not present synaptics detailed settings tab.
