Fresh Windows Installation is a great Idea. here is how i would do it:
Update your BIOS to the latest Version.
Create Windows Installation USB Drive with Microsoft Media Creation Tool.
Download all Drivers needed later including the Samsung NVMe Driver.
Disable Fast Boot in your current Windows Power Settings.
remove the Battery, remove the current installed Drive and install the new SSD instead.
go into BIOS and switch from RAID to AHCI. otherwise you will not be able to install the Samsung NVMe Driver.
now install Windows and Drivers.
disable Fast Boot again. you can enable it later after your old Windows Installation is deleted.
now you can add your old SSD and delete your old Windows. make sure you Boot into your new Windows Installation. to be able to delete ALL old Partitions you have to use CMD > Diskpart or download 3rd Party Software like Easeus Partition Master for Example because Windows protects EFi Partitions, so you can not delete them via Disk Manager.
switch Fast Boot back on again.
