Adding External Hard Drives as Internal Drives in Alienware Desktop
Hey guys,
I've got a couple of questions. I'm getting an Alienware desktop soon, and am wondering about a few things. Please reply only if you have or had an Alienware desktop.
1) I'm thinking of getting a single HDD at least at first, and then getting a Solid State Drive later on. How can I then transfer my Windows installation onto the new drive?
2) In order to save money, as I said, I'm just going for the one hard drive. I currently have three external USB 2.0 2TB Hard Drives, one Seagate and two Iomega. Can I put them in as internal drives? Is removing them from their cases all I need do?
Thanks,
RikuoAmero

transferring a windows installtion? Might as well go fresh.
Most external hard drives use different power connections so they may not plug into the sata connections provided.
