Adding SSD to X51-R2

Hey guys,

I'm looking to add an SSD into X51-R2, but I don't know whether if it is possible. And if so, how do I set it up and use it to boot my PC. Any help would be great.

I am looking to add this SSD into PC >>

TDTMING,

Follow the instructions at the link below. It is incredibly easy to install and use an SSD in the Alienware X51 R2 originally configured with a single HDD. I followed these instructions myself and configured my original HDD as a media and file storage drive so the the SSD could be used only for the OS and any applications I wished to install. Whatever SSD you choose, it should include migration software that will permit you to clone your existing HDD to the SSD (I found this easier to do via a USB HDD case rather than installing the SSD to SATA on the motherboard). If the SSD you purchase does not offer such software, thrid party applications are available online for this purpose. Good luck to you. :-)
