Alien respawn after clean ssd install
Hi,
I did a clean full re-install to an SSD on my Area 51 R2.
Is it worth my while to download and re-install Alien Respawn.
Appreciate any info.

No. I am a long time premium user of the product and can say I've never seen it work to recover a file - much less an entire OS.
In fact, last night AlienRespawn booted saying there was a problem. Against my better judgement I let it run a "test." Now My laptop will only boot to a flashing screen. You can't hit F8 without it flashing and doing nothing more. When boot to my recovery disk and I plug in the hard drive containing all of my "AlienRespawn" backups (Last one from Sunday) it showed all restore points 1 time and then froze. On subsequent tries, the drive shows no backups.
So I am wondering if this isnt just defective software, but destructive software.

I used alienrespawn..basic vers to return to factory state a couple times pn a new AreA 51. It worked fine, but as you mention other options though were lacking in their performance complicating things.
